Dieticians Tell Megan Fox to STFU
Health experts have warned dieters against taking advice from actress Megan Fox.
The Transformers star has been blasted for hailing the benefits of swigging vinegar. She recently said, "It just cleanses out your system entirely. It will get rid of ... for women who retain water weight from your menstrual cycle and all that ... it gets rid of it really fast. I'm not one for dieting or exercising, because I'm lazy and I have a really big sweet tooth, so I have to do cleanses every once in a while 'cause of the amount of sugar I take in."
However, experts in the field have dismissed Megan's claims, insisting there is not a single form of vinegar in existence that will help dieters lose weight. Dietician Lucy Jones said, "As attractive as it sounds, there is no magic pill, lotion or potion for a quick fix to weight loss. The body, including the liver, is a well-oiled detoxing machine, which will not be improved by vinegar, whether it be organic, apple cider, unfiltered, or your bog-standard malt vinegar."

Colin Farrell's Tuna, Coffee and Diet Coke sounds a lot yummier. Or how about Adrien Brody's Hard Boiled Eggs.
I'm totally blanking on other awkward celeb diets. |

Todd Harris, GOP Strategist, DECIMATED By Chris Matthews (VIDEO)
What have the Republicans done for America lately? Or in the past couple decades?
That's what Chris Matthews pressed Republican strategist Todd Harris about during Hardball on Wednesday.
Matthews repeatedly asked for examples, while citing negative examples like Bush-era spending bills, Katrina, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Harris tried to keep the focus on the 2010 elections and expressed hope that Democrats would keep going after Bush so the GOP could stay on message about being a balance against the current Democratic leadership.
Matthews suggested one answer, which Harris latched onto. "The Bush administration kept the country safe," said the guest.
"Except the one big day," the host shot back.
"YouTube is watching," he told Harris. "You're the Republican consultant. One of the best in the country. Tell me what the Republican party has done for this country in the last ten to 20 years."
Harris stayed silent.
"Thank you," Matthews said to his recurring GOP guest as he closed the segment. "We'll have you back with the answer."

| FFS...Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance to be remade |
[Jan. 7th, 2010|01:07 am] |

Warner Bros. has acquired remake rights to the Chan-Wook Park-directed Korean film “Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance,” and has set Brian Tucker (“Broken City”) to write the script.
Pic will be produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian at di Bonaventura Pictures, CJ Entertainment’s Miky Lee and Ted Kim, and Room 101’s Steven Schneider (“Paranormal Activity”).
The film is one leg of Park’s famed Vengeance trilogy. Another pic in that series, “Oldboy,” is being remade by Mandate and Vertigo.
When the women two different men love most get murdered, the men set out on violent quests to punish those responsible. Trouble is, they themselves are the ones responsible and only one of them will have vengeance.
Mabrouk El Mechri will be exec producer.
CJ Entertainment made Park’s most recent thriller, “Thirst,” and Joon-ho Bong’s “Mother.” The company is currently working on several remakes and “Korean Wedding,” a romantic comedy at Lionsgate.
WME packaged the picture.

Can't wait to see how Hollywood butchers this. And if this article's plot summary is any indication of what to expect, we can already assume that one of the original film's most heartbreaking twists will be neutered. |

FASHION EDITION
Effortlessly chic as always Marion Cotillard walked the red carpet wearing a one shoulder black Elie Saab dress with a 3/4 sleeve and an exaggerated shoulder.
I love the hair and make-up with this look. Like Penelope Cruz earlier, the less make-up they appear to be wearing the more beautiful they are.
The French actress is widely known for wearing Dior, on this occasion she opted for a pair of Dior Fall 2009 heels which added a touch of glamour to her look along with a Christian Louboutin Lolita studs clutch.

| STEPHEN BALDWIN GETS 'FANATICAL' ON BIG BROTHER |
[Jan. 7th, 2010|01:25 am] |

STEPHEN BALDWIN takes his faith so seriously, he'd watch his own daughter die in the name of religion.
The actor reinvented himself as a born-again Christian following the 9/11 terrorist attacks on America, and his wife Kennya and their kids Alaia and Hailey are equally as devoted. During a candid chat on U.K. reality show Celebrity Big Brother, Baldwin revealed the lengths he would go to to stay true to his belief in God.
He explained, "I'm gonna sound fanatical right now but what my faith requires is if I were sitting here, and my wife and two kids were sitting there, and we were on a public bus and somebody came in with a machine gun and pointed it at my daughter and said to my daughter, 'Say Jesus doesn't exist' - if she turned to me and said,
'What do I do?', I'd say, 'What have I taught you to do?'
"She'd say, 'Jesus absolutely exists', and I'd see her in heaven."

[Jan. 7th, 2010|01:08 am] |
Rhode Island's state legislature opened their 2010 session yesterday by voting overwhelmingly to override Governor Don Carcieri's veto of a bill that allowing same-sex couples and unmarried heterosexual couples to make funeral arrangements for each other, reports the Providence Journal. The issue was introduced to the General Assembly last year after Mark Goldberg, a Providence man, struggled for five weeks to reclaim the body of his deceased partner.
